Job Type:

Hourly, Part-Time (1099 Contractor)

Schedule:

Approximately 4 hours per day, 2- 3 days per week. There is flexibility with the hours.

Pay Range:

$15 – $25 per hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

A family-owned Real Estate firm is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to take ownership, under the supervision of the Office Manager, with scanning of large volumes of documents. This is a temporary, part-time position ideal for someone comfortable working independently and handling sensitive and confidential materials.

Responsibilities:

Operate scanners and related office equipment

Sort, prepare, and scan physical documents

Organize and label scanned files appropriately on a computer system

Perform quality checks to ensure accurate scans

Maintain confidentiality of all documents handled

Requirements:

Previous experience with document scanning or office work preferred but not required

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Demonstrates ability to follow directions

Basic computer skills

Ability to lift and handle boxes of documents (up to 25 lbs)

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. as a 1099 independent contractor

Contract Details:

This is a 1099 position (independent contractor)

No benefits will be provided

Start date of September 2, 2025

Will report to the Office Manager

Location: Oakland (on-site position)
