Job description:

Small Business looking for candidate with strong professional work ethic, organized, detailed-oriented, able to multi-task, have great problem-solving skills and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced, and high-volume workplace. You must possess strong written and verbal communication skills and a strong commitment to follow-through. You will be performing various tasks independently under little supervision.

Essential Job Functions:

Communicate with builders and residential customers professionally

Greet customers as they enter the shop, provide help if needed in a friendly and efficient manner

Remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to merchandise

Provide recommendations based on customer’s stated preferences, needs and desires

Manage credit card and receiving checks from customers for deposits and or final payment.

Answer phone calls, read and answer emails, return messages, answer customers questions and schedule appointments in calendar

Prepare and send proposals to customers.

Other duties as assigned

Requirements/Qualifications:

Be able to work individually or with other team members and effectively communicate with other staff

Strong phone skills and active listening.

Ability to write complete, accurate and professional emails to customers and vendors.

Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.

Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

8 hour shift

Monday to Friday

Experience:

Customer service: 2 years (Required)

Work Location: In person
