Office Administrator

Quanten Electrical is seeking an Office Administrator to be a part of the team and its growth. We are a Trades Professional with PG&E, and work with them to assist companies in upgrading buildings to be more Energy Efficient. We do Commercial and Industrial electrical services, which includes ground up construction, large tenant improvement, grid connection, etc., and are a member of the Silicon Valley/San Jose Chamber.

The position hours are M F, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (half hour lunch)

Tasks include:

- Interacting with a positive outlook with both Vendors and Customers

- Tracking and following up on calls and action items

- Organize and maintain the office and help refine and the procedures

- Maintain company files; paper and electronic

- Data Entry into QuickBooks

- Track and follow up on calls and action items

- Answer phones, work with vendors and respond to quotes and credits

- Handle incoming/outgoing mail

- Create memos and letter to customers

- Must be detail oriented

- Proficient in MS Excel, Word, Outlook

- Knowledge or experience with QuickBooks a plus

- Work well with others in a team environment

- Assist Principals in business operations

- Must be able to multitask

- Must be able to work in a small office environment

Attitude and personality are the key for this position. The individual will have direct contact with all aspects of the business, employees, vendors, and customers. The candidate will be a critical component to the growth of the company as well as the growth of this position.
