Staten Solar - helping the world transition to Clean Energy and providing Affordable Energy for Everyone - is seeking part time office help to take care of day-to-day tasks in the operations of the company. The job is best suited for someone who is retired or semi-retired and just looking to stay active part time with an organization. The job will start with an estimated average of 10 hours per week but can grow based on your preference and the company’s preference. Driving is required; and company car will be provided for the job.
Essential Duties:
1) Accept incoming deliveries from USPS or fedex/ups
2) Mail/Ship packets/letters at post office/fedex/ups.
3) Buy items from various stores in the Bay Area.
4) Perform office management functions as needed
5) Greet visitors to the office, as needed - offer tea/coffee/water etc.
6) Manage cleanliness of the office space
7) Manage the office heating/electricity usage, water bill
8) Maintain company vehicles by following their maintenance schedule
9)Get repairs done on company vehicles as per schedule
10) Keep office supplies stocked
REQUIRED Skills
1) Must have a valid California Drivers License in good standing; and CLEAN driving record.
2) Reliability. Provide confidence that the job will be done
3) Punctuality. Deliver on time. Most items are timebound and delays are not acceptable
4) Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
5) Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff
6) Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
7) Must be fluent in Hindi or Punjabi or Urdu languages.
