Jeff King & Company is an award-winning general building contractor based in San Francisco, and we're looking for a Project Coordinator who will work as part of a team for multiple concurrent residential remodeling construction projects.
This administrative superstar will handle the project budget information, risk management, and job close out while supporting our production team. This includes AP/AR; budget review; obtaining subcontractor agreements, permits, and insurance certificates; working closely with the Project Manager and/or Project Engineer to reconcile allowances; and ensuring receipt of lien releases and waivers at the close of jobs.
The role will also provide general administrative support and light project management assistance as needed.
Please note, this is a full-time, hybrid position: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday are in the office, Monday & Friday can be WFH. Our office is located in the Tenderloin neighborhood of San Francisco.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of verifiable accounting experience, ideally within the construction industry.
Detail oriented & highly organized.
Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills, written and verbal, fluent in English.
Strong interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on tact, discretion, and confidentially.
Computer proficiency: Strong MS Excel & Word skills; strong accounting software experience, Sage 100 preferred; ability to quickly learn various software. Proficient with Mac-based computers.
Ability to manage high-pressure situations, prioritize competing issues, and manage concurrent deadlines.
