Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Part-Time Leasing Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in affordable housing and Section 8 programs and will be responsible for conducting property showings, handling leasing processes, and assisting prospective tenants through the application process. This role offers a competitive commission per lease, providing a great opportunity for someone who is goal-oriented and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
-Conduct property showings for prospective tenants.
-Manage the leasing process from start to finish, including application processing and lease agreements.
-Provide excellent customer service to potential and current residents.
-Maintain knowledge of Section 8 and other affordable housing programs.
-Coordinate with the property management team to ensure units are ready for new tenants.
-Keep accurate records of showings, applications, and leasing activities.
-Meet or exceed leasing targets to maximize occupancy rates.
Qualifications:
-Previous experience in leasing, property management, or real estate is required.
-Strong understanding of Section 8 and affordable housing programs.
-Excellent communication and customer service skills.
-Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
-Proficiency in using property management software is a plus.
-Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Compensation:
-Commission-based pay per lease, with the potential for high earnings based on performance.
