I’m Jennifer, founder of Prism Jewels and owner of Maker’s Loft. After 10 years selling my handmade jewelry at craft fairs, I opened a brick-and-mortar shop with a friend who owned Maker’s Loft in 2022. I took over Maker’s Loft in January 2024 and am excited to grow this unique jewelry, crystal, and gift boutique on Piedmont Avenue.
About the Role:
I’m looking for a Store Manager to help run our cute, fun boutique. This is a part-time (approx 24 hrs/week) role that involves working in-store a few days a week and being available to help answer questions and offer support via phone or text here and there during business hours (11-6 every day.) You will be required to be somewhat flexible and weekend availability (at least Friday-Saturday) is necessary.

Your Responsibilities:
Collaborate with me on scheduling, hiring, and training.
Manage inventory, ordering, and merchandising.
Provide exceptional customer service and handle sales.
Support systems optimization and daily operations.
Assist in designing and maintaining a welcoming, organized store environment.
Analyze and maximize sales and profits.
Jewelry & Crystal Knowledge:
Since we make our own jewelry, an understanding of durability, allergenic properties of metals, jewelry-making processes, gems, and crystals is essential. Don’t worry if you’re not an expert—training will be provided for the right person!
Compensation:
Salary 30-40K depending on your experience and the number of hours you’d like to work in-store. We also offer sick pay.
