POSITION: Business Development/Sales Manager for Telekom Malaysia (USA) Inc.
Telekom Malaysia (USA), Inc., is a wholly owned subsidiary of Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), Malaysia’s largest telecommunication company. Telekom Malaysia Berhad is listed on the Main Board of the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange (KLSE: TM) in Malaysia. TM is a leading integrated information and communications company, providing a comprehensive range of communication services and solutions in broadband, data and fixed line.
Essential Functions:
Sales Managers are responsible for leading the sales department. We are looking for motivated Sales Manager to add to our sales team. We want hard working people that want to grow with us. We are looking for qualified individuals with great customer service skills.
The job scope is as listed below but not limited to:
1. Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
Work directly with customers to develop enriching relationships that improve client happiness and fuel the sales process.
Establish trust among customers to establish strong network of clientele and prospects.
2. Sales Planning and Execution:
Develop and implement sales plans to meet and exceed targets.
Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to optimize strategies.
Ensure effective communication and coordination within the sales team.
Facilitate regular sales training for continue team growth.
Demonstrate leadership by setting a clear vision and goals for the sales targeted performance.
Engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals, performance expectations and standard methodology processes
Drive business through a high-level of involvement in day-to-day operations.
3. Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends and competitors
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
4. Maintain customer relationship and satisfaction level
5. Other duties and special projects as assigned
Education and Experience:
Qualifications:
2 years of experience in sales.
Bachelor’s degree in related sales field or evidence of progressive experience required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient with MS Excel, Word and Outlook
Experience utilizing Salesforce desired, but not required.
Strong planning and organizational skills
Self-starter, be able to work with limited supervision in a small, informal office
Ability to adapt and multi-task, and to coordinate with head quarter (Malaysia)
Flexibility to work after hours
Willing to work in a team, exchanging ideas to achieve a common goal
Ability to travel occasionally as required
A background in programming (AWS, or SQL) and certifications in Cisco, Jupiter, Google Cloud and AWS are a plus.
Able to relocate to Telekom Malaysia (USA) Offices either in Washington DC, Las Vegas NV, San Francisco CA or Los Angeles CA.
Salary compensation: Based on the experience + Bonus + Health/Dental Insurances + 401K
between $60k - 100k/year
