What We Need:
Someone to help with various farmers markets we work in the Bay Area. We do markets as far North as Larkspur and as far South as San Jose area.
An ideal candidate is someone who is self-motivated, an independent problem solver, flexible, available to work, not afraid of a little driving and enjoys farmers markets. If a candidate is really committed to working the markets, then we can discuss the possibility of working a more consistent designated market schedule.
Market coverage would probably be 2-4 markets a month. A more permanent market may be available for those interested.
General Requirements:
Sales and/or wine experience.
Access to a car with ample storage space and able to transport supplies to and from market.
Willing to pick up and drop off kit and product at storage facility in either Hayward or Corte Madera (if you have space, you are also welcome to keep your kit and wine with you).
Willing to lift and carry 45+ lbs of product repeatedly.
Access to a smartphone (for square payments)
Comfortable setting up a stand and working outside.
Willing to work flexible hours and early on weekends.
Must be 21+ years old.
Preferred Requirements:
Previous farmers’ market experience and/or background in beverage, sales or hospitality.
