Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Wine Tasting Room Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for our farm experience, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a warm and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests to the winery/farm.
Pour and serve wine, providing detailed information about each wine.
Educate guests about the winemaking process, vineyard practices, and the history of the winery/farm.
Assist guests with wine purchases and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
Maintain a clean and organized tasting room.
Set up and clean up the tasting room before and after shifts.
Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately.
Assist with special events and private tastings as needed.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or the wine industry is preferred.
Knowledge of wine and winemaking processes is a plus, but not required; training will be provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
Availability to work weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
