Rubrik, Inc. in Palo Alto, CA has multiple openings for tech positions, including Engineering Manager.
Responsibilities: The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading all technical aspects of development including design and delivery processes of Rubrik data management and protection capabilities of Rubrik’s complex proprietary cloud management system; develop highly efficient and feature-rich solutions for protection and management of enterprise data coming from various sources; develop APIs with source-specific intelligence for efficiently gathering data; maintain SaaS services in production and improve their stability, scale, and performance to meet business needs; help employees grow in their career development and guide senior contributors to maximize their potential; provide a clear path for progression through employees’ personal development plans, defining goals, performing employee evaluations, and collaborating with employees on their objectives; may supervise 6-12 employees with job titles such as Member of Technical Staff and Software Engineer; other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Palo Alto, California.
Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 3 years of experience in the job offered or related. 3 years of experience working with Java, Python, C, or similar programming languages; 3 years of experience working with large scale distributed systems; 3 years of experience using SaaS applications; 3 years of experience with software development lifecycles including: full stack, front end, or backend; and 3 years of experience managing a software engineering team.
Wage: $240K to $280K
