Responsibilities: The Software Engineer II with Orby AI will Design, build, and implement software solutions to optimize and scale the Orby platform and related technologies. Duties include: developing highly scalable software using innovative computer science and software engineering principles while ensuring proper protocols are in place to rapidly roll out upgrades and new features; Executing ongoing testing and analysis of current systems, including independent performance analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting; determining design solutions to problematic programming; collaborating with cross functional teams to help build new features and solve creative problems; and other duties as assigned. Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental U.S., but will report to headquarters in Mountain View, California.
Education: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or foreign equivalent).
Requirements: 2 years of experience in the job offered or related software engineering positions. Other special requirements include: 2 years of experience working with RESTful API frameworks, C, Golang, Python or similar programming languages; 2 years of experience with large scale distributed systems; 2 years of experience developing AI/ML application development; and 2 years of experience in productionisation, monitoring, systems provisioning and networking.
Wage: $215K to $235K
