Summary:
As an Exercise Coach, you will be responsible for guiding individuals through their fitness and wellness journey, combining personalized training, and group fitness instruction. Your role is to inspire, motivate, and educate clients to achieve their health and fitness goals, leading them towards sustainable lifestyle changes and holistic transformations.
Responsibilities:
Personal Training
Conduct one-on-one and small group fitness training sessions to clients' based on their current fitness levels, goals, and any specific needs or limitations.
Provide hands-on coaching and instruction during personal training sessions to ensure proper form, technique, and safety.
Monitor clients' progress regularly, adjusting workout plans as needed to optimize results and prevent plateaus.
Offer continuous support, encouragement, and accountability to motivate clients and keep them on track towards their goals.
Group Fitness Instruction
Lead dynamic and engaging group fitness classes, incorporating a variety of exercises, formats, and intensity levels to accommodate diverse member needs.
Design and implement structured workouts that focus on endurance, strength training, flexibility, and functional movements.
Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and modifications to ensure all participants can safely and effectively participate in group workouts.
Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that motivates participants to push their limits, challenge themselves, and enjoy the group fitness experience.
Client Communication and Support
Establish open and effective communication channels with clients to understand their motivations, concerns, and progress.
Offer regular feedback, encouragement, and constructive advice to empower clients and foster their self-confidence.
Respond promptly to client inquiries, address any issues or questions, and provide additional resources or assistance as needed.
Build strong relationships with clients based on trust, empathy, and professionalism to enhance their overall experience and satisfaction.
Qualifications
Certified Personal Trainer (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM) with a solid understanding of exercise science, anatomy, and physiology.
Nutrition certification from Precision Nutrition or relevant coursework in nutrition science, dietetics, or related field preferred.
Proven track record of successfully coaching clients to achieve their fitness and wellness goals.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds and fitness levels.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex fitness and nutrition concepts to clients.
Passionate about health, fitness, and helping others transform their lives through sustainable lifestyle changes.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Flexible schedule with availability to work morning, mid-day, evenings, and weekends as needed.
