Position Overview:
Thrive Muscle Activation, LLC is seeking a certified massage therapist to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our wellness studio, you will work collaboratively with other massage therapists and Muscle Activation Techniques (MAT) specialists to deliver exceptional care to our clients. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping others, skilled in a variety of massage modalities, and eager to learn and grow in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality massage therapy services to clients, incorporating a variety of techniques such as Swedish massage, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and aromatherapy etc for general relaxation.
Conduct thorough client assessments to identify individual needs, concerns, and treatment goals.
Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs and preferences, including recommendations for ongoing care and self-care practices.
Collaborate with other massage therapists and Muscle Activation Techniques specialists to coordinate care and ensure a comprehensive approach to wellness.
Maintain accurate and detailed client records, including treatment notes, progress reports, and billing information.
Uphold professional standards of conduct, ethics, and hygiene at all times, in accordance with state regulations and industry best practices.
Actively participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Valid certification or licensure as a massage therapist in the state of California.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or spa setting, with proficiency in a variety of massage modalities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development, with a willingness to explore and integrate new techniques and modalities into practice.
Passion for holistic health and wellness, with a genuine desire to help others achieve their wellness goals.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, with flexibility to adapt to changing client needs and schedules.
