Searching for a beauty savvy and meticulous salon coordinator, brand coordinator. We are a fast paced, frequently published beauty studio in central Corte Madera looking for the glue to hold it all together for our salon and beauty brand.
Must:
Have salon or equivalent experience running a front of house, checking in guests and booking appointments in person, online, phone and text.
Assist salon artists needs in a fast-paced constantly turning environment. (Includes: cleaning, stocking, serving guest drinks, light laundry, light morning housekeeping.
Understanding of hair, makeup, esthetician and skin care services.
Computer savvy with modern salon software (willing to train on our software) + experience in word, pages, numbers or excel preferred.
Social media skills a huge plus. (comfortable posting to salon account, taking photos/ videos on iphone and shop camera).
Exceptional customer service with incredible sense of urgency, punctuality and always positive attitude. This is a constant customer facing role so positivity and high energy are necessary to succeed in this role.
Polished persona with strong work ethic and ability to handle changing tasks on the fly.

Detail oriented a must to manage our appointment and customer database and manage stock.
Experience in Shopify order management/ fulfillment a plus as we ship salon orders and our beauty brand wholesale orders from our back office. (training available). Orders filled in timely manner to wholesale accounts, customers, press.
The salon coordinator should be polished and fashion savvy with some knowledge of current hair, makeup & skin care trends.
Retails sales to guests with appointments and occasional walk-ins. (selling skin care, makeup, gifts). We have wonderful brands and exceptional training opportunities with our brands.
Personal assisting the salon owner with day-to-day operations where light errands including owner personal errands may be required.
Backroom/ backbar supply and retail reorder management with inventory tracking is part of the job. Be comfortable with Amazon ordering.
We are a very cohesive and organized group and the job is quite fun, easy and predictable for the right person once trained. The salon vibe is upbeat and easy-going where employees are supportive and kind to each other. All employees jump in where help is needed. Once trained, we expect the salon coordinator to be a self-starter with the ability to handle the daily twists and turns that keep us on our toes. You should be attentive, alert and a good listener with hyper peripheral customer service sensibility.
Pay is competitive hourly rate starting at $28+ per hour DOE, paid holidays, health care reimbursement for full-time employees, discounts on products and services, mileage reimbursement. Looking for full-time (30 hours minimum), morning schedule 8:45-9am start. Tues-Saturday. Saturdays are shorter shifts and flexible according to bookings.
We are extremely understanding of life events and allow space for Dr. appointments, family events, etc. and value time off when needed. This is a great path into beauty and open to applicants with cosmetology or estheticians license looking to move into future artist role.
