Job Overview:

The IT Security Specialist will be responsible for securing our organization's digital assets across a diverse technology stack that includes Okta, Office365, Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, Windows Server (2016 and 2022), CrowdStrike, Qualys, and various other applications. This role demands a proactive approach to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats, while ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of these technologies, hands-on experience with security tools, and the ability to design and implement robust security frameworks tailored to our hybrid environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology-Specific Security Management: Develop and implement security measures tailored to the specific needs and vulnerabilities of our core technologies, including Okta, Office365, Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, and Windows Server environments.

Threat and Vulnerability Management: Leverage tools like CrowdStrike and Qualys to conduct regular security assessments, monitor for threats, and address vulnerabilities promptly.

Incident Response and Recovery: Manage security incidents with a focus on minimizing impact and conducting post-mortem analyses to prevent future occurrences. Ensure robust data recovery processes are in place, particularly for critical applications and services.

Security Policy Development: Create and maintain security policies that reflect the unique requirements of our technology stack, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory obligations.

Training and Awareness Programs: Develop training materials and conduct sessions specific to our technology environment, educating staff on best practices for security and compliance.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar are highly desirable.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in information security, with specific experience in managing security for environments that include Okta, Office365, Salesforce, Oracle Fusion, Windows Server, CrowdStrike, Qualys, etc.

Familiarity with cloud security principles and best practices, especially as they relate to Office365 and Salesforce environments.

Knowledge of Windows Server security, including both 2016 and 2022 versions.

Skills:

Proficiency in using and managing security tools like CrowdStrike and Qualys.

Strong analytical skills to evaluate security postures of various applications and infrastructure.

Excellent communication skills for articulating security risks and requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in developing and enforcing security policies and procedures tailored to specific technologies.

Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
