Gold Rush Jewelers has an opening for a jeweler in one of our stores. Below is what we are looking for in a jeweler:
3-5 years of Bench Jeweler experience with a focus on repair work
Courteous and professional individual with excellent communication skills
Ability to multi-task with extraordinary attention to detail
Energetic and confident with the ability to hustle under time constraints
Passion for achieving growth and success
Ability to work under pressure and willing to hear constructive feedback
Punctual and excellent time management skills
Demonstrated professional maturity (discretion, flexibility, and self-starter who can work within a team or solo)
Resourceful and adept at problem solving
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Jewelry Repair
- sizing rings
- chain repairs
- earring and pendant repair
- some jewelry restoration
Finishing of castings
Casting silver, gold and platinum
Replacing watch batteries
Sizing watch band links
Light fabrication duties
Possible light stone setting, dependent on skills
General shop cleaning and maintenance
