Goldsmith Apprentice - Bench Jeweler - Jewelry Sales
We are seeking a goldsmith apprentice to become an integral part of our team. You will be responsible for selling jewelry, customer service, jewelry intake, jewelry repair and custom work. Applicant must have their own transportation and be able to work in the Walnut Creek, Lafayette area. This is a part time position to start and will become a full time position.
Responsibilities:
-Welcome and identify customer needs
-Detailed intake of jewelry for repair and custom work
-Process customer orders
-Merchandising and shop upkeep
-Follow up with customers and vendors
-Jewelry repair knowledge and skills
Qualifications:
-3+ years experience in retail, sales, and customer service
-Ability to excel in a fast paced work environment and meet deadlines
-Ability to build rapport with customers and work as part of a team
-Interest in esthetics, jewelry and fashion
-Advertising, social media and computer skills a plus.
-Jewelry fabrication and repair skills & a willingness to learn.
