An established, Walnut Creek-based General Contracting firm is seeking construction Project Job Superintendents for the bay area and out of state. Applicants MUST have a minimum of three years prior restaurant experience supervising all trades on commercial construction projects. We are looking for team players who are very organized, professional and friendly.
Primary responsibilities include making sure subcontractors comply with plans, specifications, scheduling and quality control policies ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and is of the highest quality.
The superintendent will assist the project manager through all phases of the project and help supervise laborers and oversee all trade contractors; Coordinate the work of all trades including scheduling, sequencing and trouble shooting; Organize, conduct and document trade contractor meetings.
The superintendent will also assist the project manager with the compilation and maintenance of the project schedule; Create daily reports, RFIs and safety memos as required; Ensure that accurate, as-built plans are being created during construction; Manage compliance with plans; Create punch lists; Document corrected conditions; Interface and walk with all inspectors; Manage all correspondence to trade contractors.
The candidate must be able to read plans; be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Project. Good driving record required. Qualified applicants, please send your resume including a relevant project list.
