Job Summary
As a Project Manager at Vought Construction, you will oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of residential construction projects. Each day you will meet with the superintendents and make sure they have answers from the clients and architects to keep them moving. You will log in to BuilderTrend daily to update schedules, check time clocks, and make sure the budgets are updated.
Key Responsibilities
Project Oversight: Assist in managing high-end residential construction projects from pre-construction to completion.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with site supervisors, and subcontractors to support project goals.
Budget Management: Help monitor project budgets and identify opportunities for cost control.
Schedule Management: Support the development and tracking of project schedules.
Client Relations: Communicate professionally with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns with the support of senior team members.
Quality Control: Learn to ensure all work meets Vought Construction’s high standards for craftsmanship and detail.
Compliance: Assist in maintaining adherence to safety, legal, and regulatory requirements.
Problem-Solving: Identify potential issues and work with the team to implement solutions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including budgets, schedules, and progress reports.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or associates degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
Experience: It's great if you have some experience but it's not necessary. We will train you if you have no experience. We just need you to want to learn. We can teach you how to run multimillion dollar project - no problem.
Skills:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend) is a plus.
Understanding of budgeting and scheduling.
