Entry level automotive technician
This is a great opportunity for an entry level tech. Ideal candidate would be recent graduate or attending trade school or Jr college studying automotive technology or have some experience in a shop with light duty work such as oil changes, tire service and brake jobs. Who we are:
We have been serving the North Oakland area since 1993 and have an outstanding reputation among our customers and the greatest per community. We specialize on Volvo cars but also do general repairs and services on Asian cars as well.
Experience:
Previous experience at an auto shop or no experience if a recent automotive trade school grad. Spanish speaking is a plus.
Candidate Responsibilities:
Must be goal oriented, driven, team player, organized, punctual and with professional personal appearance. Clean DMV record.
Perform minor and major services using our guidelines
Perform brake jobs
Perform suspension work
Perform A/C service
Replace and balance tires and perform alignment
Keep shop clean and organized
Other duties will be requested by manger or supervisor.
All work will be done using our proven guidelines and will be supervised.
Management responsibilities:
provide the proper training and guideline as needed.
provide a mutual respect and safe environment.
provide clean weekly uniforms
Provide proper specialty tools needed other than general mechanic’s hand tool which the candidate must provide themself.

This is a full-time position M-F. Must have a valid and clean driver’s license. This is an drug-free environment.
Compensation will depend on experience and will be discussed during an interview.
