Experienced foam RC airplane builder

Seeking experienced RC airplane builder and hobbyist to help me with RC airplanes. Get paid to enjoy the hobby you already love!

Requirement: foam scratch-builds

If you have downloaded plans from the internet before, used materials like depron, dollar tree foam board, hot glue, etc to construct RC airplanes, then I would love to hear from you. You are probably very good in terms of your construction skills, you've built at least 5 airplanes from scratch using foam, and you would enjoy building more. You are good at painting, finishing, printing out custom stickers, and creating beautiful finished models. You are experienced at selecting propellers, motors, and RC electronics. Given a set of specs, you can quickly assess the weight of a model, figure out the ballpark thrust required, and go about selecting a motor and esc combo. You own a watt-meter and aren't afraid to use it. You know how to determine which pitch of propeller is the ideal balance of power, thrust, and amp draw. In short, you are very experienced with RC airplanes in general, and foam-building specifically, and you love doing this stuff. Come help me out and I'll pay you to keep enjoying your hobby even more.

For either category, please include the following in your response:

1. how involved are you in the RC airplane hobby? How experienced are you in general? How many years have you enjoyed this hobby?

2. Please describe your experience in scratch-building foam airplanes. How many such planes have you constructed? When did you construct these planes? Please include photos if you have them.

3. How far do you live from Palo Alto? This job is best for people who live within approximately 40 miles of Palo Alto CA

4. General RC airplane hobby question: give me one question you would ask someone to determine their level of experience with RC airplanes if you were in my shoes

5. Foam building question: give me one question you would ask someone to determine that person's level of experience with foam building

6. How much time might you have available to help me on a monthly basis? Note: I don't need a huge amount of time, there is no set schedule, you can work on this when you like, but if you are extremely busy then obviously this won't work.

7. Reliability: my number one requirement is reliability. If you say you are doing something, you do exactly that. It is ok if you only agree to do a limited amount of work, but whatever that was, you do it. Please comment on your reliability.

8. Painting and finishing: please comment on your ability to properly paint and finish RC airplanes. Include pics if you have them.

This is an amazing job for the right person - you will get paid to have fun and be creative.

Note: if in doubt, feel free to drop me a line. Maybe you have some ideas I haven't considered. Maybe you are a balsa-only guy and you will convince balsa is the way to go. Maybe you live far away but you have a reason to be in the Bay area from time to time. Maybe that could work. Who knows! This is about having fun, so feel free to reach out.
