We are an established, start to finish residential General Construction company specializing in High End Renovations, Additions and Remodels in Marin County.
We're seeking an experienced Foreman to efficiently manage projects and lead our Foundation to Close-in crew. This is a full-time, long-term position with a minimum of 40 hrs a week. We are offering an hourly rate of $45 - $55/hr (depending on experience), paid sick time, 401K option, flexible spending account and commuter benefits.
Position requirements and qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of verifiable Foreman experience with Framing background.
- Ability to accurately read, comprehend and build to approved building plans, specs and construction documents.
- Must be knowledgeable enough to envision finish work.
- Ability and past experience to oversee all trades and phases of projects from start to finish.
- Ability to layout, foresee potential issues and problem solve.
- Ability to supervise, manage and lead a qualified crew.
- Ability to take and give direction effectively.
- Must be drug-free.
- Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Position responsibilities:
- Work directly with General Contractor/Owner building projects.
- Accurately maintain descriptive daily job cards/records specifying hours and details of work performed by your crew and yourself.
- Execute project schedule.
- Accurately prepare and assess material take-offs and place material orders in a timely manner.
- Attend pre-construction and progress meetings.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with all parties involved with the project.
