Intentional Contracting Inc. is in search of a qualified estimator to join our team.
Founded in 1999, Intentional Contracting Inc. is a general contracting company,
specializing in winery/tasting rooms and ultra-custom homes throughout Sonoma and
Napa counties and the Bay Area.
Estimators will be expectedto provide thorough and accurate project estimates
including ROM, schematics, design development and construction document estimates.
Estimator will work with the Senior Estimator in providing oversight, direction and
mentorship to the junior team members responsible for preparing estimates. Manage
multiple estimates simultaneously and be accountable for the end product delivered to
the Senior Estimator.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture or
related field is preferred, but not required
Prior experience as an estimator or project engineer for a general contractor or
construction manager required
Skills Required:
Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting construction documentation
including project plans, specifications, addenda, reports, contracts etc.
Proficiency in Cost Estimator and PlanSwift programs
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Ability to pay meticulous attention to detail.
Strong team management and leadership skills.
Strong written and verbal skills.
