General Contractor in Rohnert Park has steady work. We are looking to hire skilled and an experienced Working Foreman. Our business continues to grow, and we need the right leadership people to join our team! We have a wide variety of residential projects that include interior/exterior work. We primarily focus on remodels, but occasionally some new construction. We need "reliable and skilled" professionals who take responsibility for their team's work on the job site.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Positions require 20+ years of construction experience with major residential remodels and new builds.
Foreman must have ability to supervise and multiple teams to perform all phases of rough/finish carpentry, travel between multiple sites and supervise 8-10 employees onsite and/or subcontractors.
Must have the ability to read architectural/structural engineering plans.
Foreman must be able to direct and mentor laborer apprentices and carpenters as needed to keep the job moving forward and ensure every team is working productively with an assembly line approach to meet project milestones – not having team members working as individuals.
Positions must be well-organized on job site, proactively follow Project Manager’s schedule for task assignments to meet target dates for both self and team.
Foreman will pickup job materials at various local vendors; therefore, having a truck with racks is required.
Position must be able to work with Project Manager and communicate potential risk/issues associated with job to mitigate action plan.
Position must have the ability to problem-solve as remodels are not new construction and you will be faced with challenging situations to implement design requirements. It will not be a perfect environment like new construction.
Must have a team player and positive can-do attitude, otherwise do not apply.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to work in Sonoma, Napa and Marin counties. Fuel allowance provided if working outside of Sonoma County.
Must have a reliable and verifiable work history in the building trades.
Must be detail oriented and able to complete team assignments on time.
Ability to communicate well with others (as needed).
Must have excellent customer service with clients.
Must be able to legally work in the US and provide proof.
Must have valid driver’s license.
Must be able to speak English, bilingual is a plus.
Drinking/drugs is not be tolerated on job site.
COMPENSATION:
Competitive compensation determined by experience.
5-paid sick days annually.
