Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance, irrigation systems, and horticulture. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure the upkeep and beautification of residential and commercial properties.
Responsibilities
Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure efficient water usage.
Utilize hand tools and power tools for landscaping projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Assist in planting, pruning, and caring for trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants.
Conduct regular inspections of landscapes to identify issues such as pests or diseases.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment after each job.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
Skills
Proficiency in landscape maintenance techniques including lawn care and gardening practices.
Knowledge of horticulture principles to promote healthy plant growth.
Experience with both hand tools (e.g., shears, rakes) and power tools (e.g., lawn mowers, trimmers).
Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality results in landscaping tasks.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various weather conditions.
