Job Description–

Manage the troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Electrical Infrastructure with an emphasis on PV and other types of Renewable Energy projects.

Duties include but not limited to:

Manage and perform electrical work such as landing conductors, installing conduit, pulling wire, and installing electrical equipment.

Perform electrical testing and commissioning per manufacturer instructions and industry standards.

Perform PV System Troubleshooting by testing inverters, conductors, and modules.

Perform updates and information uploads into online customer and monitoring portals.

Know how to use and update Solaredge monitoring portals.

Performs and supervises all tasks ensuring all safety practices are followed. OSHA 30 is a plus.

Meet about and implement Site Safety plan on a regular basis. Ensure safety protocols are in place, done correctly, and documented.

Communicate with on-site customer representatives, project manager, vendors making deliveries of equipment and material, and other subcontractors on the project.

Able to read and understand drawings and plansets.

Manage and perform Underground Conduit work and Civil Work including trenching and equipment pads.

Operate on equipment such as Skid Steer, Excavator, Vacuum rig, Forklift, Reach Forklift.

Manage subcontractors, ensuring safe and quality workmanship

Know and understand underground location markings, along with tracking where they are and how to maintain heavy equipment clearance from them

Perform material take offs, receive and manage materials onsite

Watch carefully for operational problems by studying performance results and systems functioning and ways to apply improvements to speed up the job.

Must be able to bend, squat and kneel.

Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds unassisted.

Hours: Monday – Thursday [4] 10 hour shifts per week. 7 am to 5 pm

Travel 100% of the time unless project is near home. 3 to 5 nights in a hotel each week, usually 3.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years’ experience performing Commercial Electrical work

Hold a valid General Electrician Certification in California

Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for the past 2 years Commercial License a Plus
