Small Bay-Friendly Landscaping Business Seeks Crew Leader & Crew Member

We create functional outdoor spaces in a diverse range of residential sites, located throughout the East Bay (Primarily in Oakland / San Leandro).
CREW LEADER
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of daily tasks and schedule for crew.
- Fine gardening specific to Bay Area ornamental residential gardens.
- Hardscaping includes concrete/flagstone pavers, gravel and decomposed granite
- Landscaping includes irrigation, soil grading / amending, planting and LV lighting
- General construction includes decking, stairs, railing and fencing
- Tool Management
- Log Activities & Hours via Quickbooks Time
Requirements / Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Authorized to work in the US
- Minimum 1 Year Experience as Crew Leader
- 3 Years Professional Experience as a Bay Area Landscaper
- Lift 80lbs unassisted
- Solid horticultural knowledge and understanding of common Bay Area ornamental plants
- Fine Gardening: pruning, dead-heading, pest / disease identification
- Drip Irrigation Repair + Installation
- Soil Amending + Grading
- Landscape Masonry + Basic Carpentry
- Excellent Time Management
- Focused + Detailed-Oriented
- Accountable
- Excellent Communication Skills: English (required) & Spanish
Compensation
Pay DOE, $25 - $32/hr
Hourly Employee; Long Term Position with Many Opportunities for Growth

- (Preferred) Minimum 1 Year Professional Experience as a Bay Area Landscaper
- Lift 80lbs unassisted
- (Preferred) Working horticultural knowledge and understanding of ornamental plants
- Basic Landscaping Skills
- Good Time Management
- Focused + Detailed-oriented
- Accountable
- Good Communication Skills: English (required) & Spanish
Compensation
Pay DOE, $20 - $26/hr
Hourly Employee; Long Term Position Available.
