LANDSCAPING COMPANY URGENTLY SEEKING FULL TIME PROJECT MANAGER
A&A Landscape, Inc. is a family-owned, well-established landscaping company headquartered in Redwood City, California. With over 30 Years of industry experience, we offer a variety of services, both commercial and residential, which includes new development as well as on-going maintenance services throughout the Southern Peninsula.
We are currently in search of a well experienced Project Manager fully capable of managing and overseeing multiple jobsite locations on a day-to-day basis. The prospective candidate must be able to successfully navigate the challenges of ensuring all jobsites are productive as well as completing all projects on or ahead of schedule. The position requires an individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to successfully communicate with both job crews as well as clients as needed.
Prospective candidate must also have extensive experience with Planning, Leading, Execution, Time Management, Budgeting, Documentation, and Post Job Completion Maintenance – all while utilizing several online software tools to assist in successful start-to-finish project execution.
Prerequisites:
Must be bi-lingual and fluent in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
Position open to all applicants with a minimum 3 year of project management experience; having worked within the landscaping industry is a plus!
Must have a reliable vehicle to ensure on-time arrival to work / various jobsites on a day-to-day basis. This position is time-sensitive, requiring a responsible candidate capable of being on time and present every day, Monday through Friday. (Some weekends as needed.)
Position will be mainly out in the field with minimal or as-needed in-office presence. Prospective candidates must have excellent work ethics, capable of working independently with minimal or no supervision. The ability to take-in and follow instructions is imperative.
Candidate will also be fully capable and adept in working within a fast-paced environment, able to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism, as well as able to handle the challenges of last-minute project updates and changes.
Must be well versed and knowledgeable with Windows PC and Microsoft Office Suite – including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
Must be a quick learner and able to take on the task of learning additional Online Project Management Software, Time Keeping and Text Based Communication Applications.
General Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Prepare day-to-day crew schedule assignments based on current workloads and established Start / Finish dates for all projects, current and upcoming, via Online Project Management Software.
Effectively manage, move, and/or reassign crew personnel to ensure sufficient jobsite coverage based on production schedule via Online Project Management Software.
Ensure all crew members are productive at all times, reporting and documenting deficiencies; including, but not limited to, taking corrective and/or disciplinary action in coordination with in-office personnel management.
Delivery of tools, materials, and equipment to active jobsites located throughout the southern peninsula in accordance with established scheduling system (accessible via mobile application) on an as needed basis.
Ability to effectively communicate all around with Office Personnel (Dispatch), Field Crew Leads (and other field personnel/workers) in a respectful, professional manner at all times. (Minimal communication with clients may be required or requested on an as needed basis.)
