Job title: Maintenance Technician
A leading property management company has an opening for a full-time Maintenance technician. We are seeking a self-motivated and a mechanical-inclined individual to join our team. Professional and friendly work environment.
Job Summary
This position is responsible for completing maintenance activities in the bay area, preparing vacant units and maintaining the common areas.
Maintain and keep an inventory of all supplies and equipment.
Must have a solid understanding of plumbing, electrical as well as carpentry and other construction methods.
Must be well-versed in all maintenance processes and health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities include:
Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
Check electrical and plumbing systems of building to ensure functionality
Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
Install and repair appliances and equipment
Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents
Ability to efficiently attend to work orders, and report it in a mobile app.
Responsible for day to day upkeep of buildings and grounds to maintain high quality living experiences for our residents.
Qualifications/Requirements
Ability to operate various hand tools including power tools
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
Effective communication skills
Multifamily Maintenance Experience is preferable.
Property maintenance/handyman experience/ Multifamily maintenance
