I am a metal fabricaor in petaluma looking for someone interested in learning the trade.
It is a very informal position that will be paid, and you will learn to weld, cut, and small amount of machining.
There is a lot of grunt work involved- most of the job will be helping me set up new shop, and be an extra set of hands for installations, picking up materials, etc.
It is part-time and the hours can be flexible to fit around your real job or school or whatever.
Pluses are any computer skills, if you have truck, but these are not critical.
Previous work experience in this trade is not needed - I only ask that you have a general understanding of how to read a tape measure and can show up on an agreed time. Also that you have work clothes and shoes appropriate for physical work.
