Your role:
Hands-on Fine Gardening
You and an assistant will be in gardens located within San Francisco,
performing standard garden care and maintenance tasks with a high level of
detail and professionalism. This includes weeding and aesthetic pruning,
organic pest management, organic fertilizing, general clean up and on-going
landscape refinement.
Managerial Duties
You will help maintain the account schedule, follow-up with client
communication, and prompt our bookkeeper to invoice. We provide a
computer, workstation, and RareField email address for you in our offices on
Valencia St. This should take a few hours per week and is a great time to ask
for help from the rest of our team in the office, grab a snack, and take
advantage of your coworkers’ expertise
Professional Growth
In addition to the core responsibilities listed above, please note that you will be
part of a team of skilled professionals whose hands-on techniques, design
style, presentation style, business management, client interactions, and more,
are available for you to participate in and learn from as opportunities arise.

Job requirements:
1. 5 years of local, professional fine gardening experience.
2. Management experience not required but a plus!
3. Current driver’s license and clean driving record.
4. A developed set of gardening skills including plant ID, weeding, pruning,
pest ID and management, irrigation management, knowledge of fertilizers, etc.
5. Physical ability to bend, stand, kneel, and lift 50 lbs. throughout the day.
