The Assistant Project Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the construction process, ensuring sites are well-prepared and organized for building and structural work. This position involves a hands-on approach, from managing materials to assisting with various construction tasks, ensuring efficiency and adherence to plans and specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the construction of structures in various settings, including residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
- Engage in site preparation and cleanup, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
- Collaborate closely with construction managers, providing essential assistance to facilitate project progress.
- Interpret and follow blueprints and design documents to align construction activities with architectural plans.
- Contribute to the installation of essential utilities, including sewer, water, and storm drainage systems.
- Operate a range of construction equipment, including drills, jackhammers, earth tampers, and mixers for concrete, mortar, and plaster, ensuring proper use and safety at all times.
- Play a role in demolition activities, adhering to safety standards and project requirements.
- Manage and transport construction materials, ensuring their availability and proper handling on-site.
