Pay Structure: Hourly/Non-Exempt
Multiple Locations: Santa Rosa, Napa, Richmond, and Martinez
We are in search of Regional Product Support Technicians that can function well as part of a team. You must have very effective organizational and communication skills to service our diverse equipment fleet and work seamlessly between multiple stores and geographic areas. Your goal is to ensure that Cresco provides the best rental equipment in Northern CA through the implementation of timely repairs focused on quality. The Cresco fleet must be in the best
condition in the rental business.
As a Regional Product Support Technician, you would be a product expert in maintaining and repairing the equipment we rent. You would be the catalyst for continued improvement between multiple Cresco stores. We seek highly motivated mechanics with experience in construction and industrial equipment. Knowledge of hydraulics,
electronics, gas and diesel machinery is preferred.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous mechanic service experience in the equipment rental/construction industry and/or related field required
- Positive attitude

- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to lead a team effectively
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to high priority product support tasks based on the Regional Service Manager’s direction
- Responsible for performing inspections, repairs and services that are up to Cresco Standards and completed in a timely manner
- Communicate with store office staff to ensure that equipment is serviced and repaired quickly and efficiently
- Ensure that all equipment maintenance is following Cresco safety standards and practices
- Report any problems or potential problems with equipment to the Regional Service Manager
- Prepare to be dispatched to multiple locations within your home geographic territory
- Ensure all work orders are accurate and completed timely. Some of the work will be done in the field.
- Send parts for warranty consideration to Cresco Central Warehouse
- Attend service courses offered by the company and take initiative to improve technical knowledge and skills on equipment rented by Cresco Equipment Rentals
- Maintain a technical library that includes a current Quality Control Binder
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the Regional Service Manager
Education, Experience and Required Skills, Including Certificates, Licenses and Registrations:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- 5 + years of mechanical experience in all areas of repair
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred
Physical Demands and/or Work Environment
- Activities requiring handling and grasping with the hands when performing repairs or maintenance of equipment by utilizing hand tools, power tools, air tools, nuts, bolts, electronic controls, and other small parts
- Occasional use of foot/feet to operate foot pedal on equipment to test operation
- Frequent lifting up to 25 lbs., occasional lifting up to 50 lbs., and infrequent lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 4 hours per day
- Ability to bend, kneel and work with arms raised for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to climb over and into heavy equipment several times per day
- Occasional working at heights above 10 ft
- Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes
