Left Coast Contractors is looking for experienced Remodeling Carpenters for residential remodeling projects here in the South Bay Area. We are looking for full-time employees with experience with finish/rough carpentry, drywall repair, painting, texture, electrical, & mechanical skills. Pay is per hour depending on experience with opportunities for advancement.
Principle Duties/Responsibilities:
Ensure that all safety measures are taken and adhered to on the construction sites
Job site cleanup, maintenance and organization
Interior / Exterior Finish and Rough Carpentry
Communicate in English with Clients & Team Members
Troubleshoot problems in the field & complete projects on time
Material handling, supply pick up & prep
We are looking for Team Members that have basic carpentry & framing skills who know how to cut lumber in existing structures /add lumber as needed, basic electrical skills such as tapping into power, wire receptacles/switches & fish wires in walls; finish carpentry skills such as cutting, patching & painting drywall/plaster; basic mechanical skills for installing appliances.
Requirements:
Must have Valid CA I.D. & legally authorized to work in U.S.
Have experience References
Have dependable personal transportation
Perform physically demanding work including lifting 60+lbs
Ability to read and comprehend instruction manuals in English
Own some basic hand tools & have basic knowledge of power tools
