General Auto Tech Mechanic Needed Full-Time
We arelooking foran Auto Mechanic - Full Time - General Maintenanceto join our team!You will be responsible forrepairing various vehicles. We are a small very busy family business. We require punctuality, reliability and a great team mentality.
Our hours are: 7:30a - 5:00pm Mon - Thur and 7:30 - 12p on Fridays, no weekends!
Responsibilities:
Performs oil changes and lubrication service for vehicles
Repairautomobiles, trucks, buses, and other motor vehicles
Perform routine vehicle maintenance
Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
Perform quality inspectionsprior to returning the vehicle to the customer
Must possess a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record
Exposure to loud noises
Maintains clean and safe work environment; cleans spills and debris immediately to reduce hazards
Maintain company provided equipment and machinery
Responsible for the safety and accuracy of all repairs made and or systems inspected to assure vehicle is as safe or safer condition as was prior to work commencing
Qualifications:
Previous experienceas a mechanic
Knowledge of shop equipment
Ability to drive vehicles equipped with manual transmission
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work scheduled hours as necessitated by business need
Standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, reaching, lifting, climbing ladders
Medical after 12 month probationary period
Must be able to work in the United States
Must speak English
Hourly pay, 40 hours a week.
