Job Summary:
A Site Superintendent for home remodeling is responsible for overseeing daily construction activities to ensure a project is completed safely, on time, and to quality standards. Key duties include managing subcontractors, coordinating with stakeholders like clients and architects, enforcing safety regulations, and ensuring the work aligns with plans and budgets. They are responsible for overseeing any field and office staff along with production managers in the greater bay area.
Essential Functions:
1. Fulfilling OSHA requirements
2. Oversight of weekly cash collections.
3. Monitor progress of installers' project to ensure progress payments deadlines are being met.
4. Establish deadlines for project phases per payment schedule.
5. Oversee deliveries, material storage, and site security, ensuring a smooth work flow.
6. Pre-site all projects for measurements.
7. Assist production manager and field staff as needed.
8. Ensure quality assurance and final walk throughs are taking place, along with educating our customers on all products.
9. Partner with the Contracts Analyst, ensuring all permits are compliant when the job is ready to be signed off by city/state officers.
10. Addressing customer questions and or concerns timely.
11. Suggest and create systems to improve the efficiency of business.
12. Work hand in hand with the General Manager and Sales Director in daily needs of each project.
13. Responsible for coordinating with the Director of People Ops on staffing needs.
14. Timekeeping: Responsible in ensuring all hourly staff are taking appropriate breaks, lunches and timecards are compliant.
15. Responsible for training and development of all new field staff including production managers.
16. Reviews all contracts to ensure they are compliant prior to ordering any materials for customers.
17. Establish and maintain relationships both internally and externally with clients, staff, sub-contractors, and ownership.
18. All other duties as assigned.
Essential Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 5-10 years of hands-on experience in the home remodeling industry with prior experience as a Superintendent.
Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge across all trades and phases of construction, including plumbing, electrical, and bathroom installations.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, Problem-solving, and time management skills.
Technology Proficiency: Comfort with several CRM platforms and construction project management software.
Physical Ability: The ability to work safely and independently, navigate several construction jobs, and work/drive in various weather conditions.
The ability and willingness to travel are essential for this role.
Pay: $120,000-$150,000 Or DOE
