Job Summary: In the Instructional Aide position at San Luis Coastal Unified School District, you will work in person to supervise a small group of students as they participate in their virtual classes and complete their assignments. Training in student engagement techniques and technology platforms will be provided. At this time, all grade levels and sites are available.

Comments and Other Information: Instructional Aide positions will be available at multiple school sites throughout the San Luis Coastal Unified School District. Hours may vary from part-time to full-time. Anticipated start date is as soon as possible after hire, and is dependent on fingerprint and TB clearances. Current vacancies are for limited term positions, in-person assignments, with no ongoing guarantee of hours or benefits.

Compensation:
Pay is $16.07 per hour after serving 20 days in the assignment. The first 19 days will be paid at $14.50 per hour, and then at 20 days, pay will increase to $16.07 per hour, paid retroactively to the first day of the assignment.
The District is also offering an additional $7.50 per hour, through June 30, 2021, for employees who work directly with students in person, and are considered close contacts.
