Project Architect: (Gabriel Architects)

Gabriel Architects (GA) was established in 1994 as a full-service architectural design firm for a wide variety of projects ranging from residential, multi-family, commercial, public, medical and winery projects throughout the Central Coast. Currently GA is a well-established five-person office with growth opportunity for the person who fits in well in our awesome team.

GA in San Luis Obispo is seeking a highly talented individual to become an integral part of our firm and develop into a leadership position working directly with the principal. We need a Project Architect who is highly motivated, self-starter with strong design and presentation skills and has excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Potential for Upper-level Management Position

 Manage:

Staff

Project Scheduling

Project Production

 Assist with:

Design

Presentations

Marketing

Duties & Responsibilities:

 Collaborate with entire staff

 Develop program, design, and construction document phases

 Direct construction documents, code analysis, managing consultants, and quality control

 Review documents for permitting bidding and construction completeness

 Multitask responsibilities

Requirements:

 Minimum 5 years of professional experience

 Architectural License in CA

 Bachelor or master’s degree in architecture

 Extensive experience in commercial construction documents and detailing

 Current knowledge of the California Building Codes

 Very detailed orientated while being able to multi-task

 Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit & 3-D Modeling

 Residence in North San Luis Obispo County a plus
