United Staffing has partnered with a successful, well-frequented convenience store and deli in the search for an experienced cook to support food prep, cleaning, and counter service. This is a full-time opportunity ideal for someone who enjoys working with food and interacting with customers.
Responsibilities of a Deli Worker:
Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
Prepare recipe ingredients and cook menu items
Ensure that food is ready on time and that deli items are well-stocked
Prepare customer orders, including hot and cold line items
Follow proper handwashing and food safety procedures
Maintain a clean and sanitized work area, including cleaning fryers
Requirements of a Deli Worker:
Good interpersonal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and assist multiple customers during busy hours
Team-oriented and dependable
Comfortable standing for extended periods of time
Schedule:
This is position is anticipated to be full-time hours, with shifts usually from 10am – 6:30pm. Shifts during your initial training periods will be 7am – 3:30pm or 10am – 6:30pm.
Starting Pay Rate: $20/hour
