Full-time Delivery Driver wanted for fast growing wholesale bakery in San Luis Obispo. Hourly, at will position, available immediately.
Duties include:
Safely loading delivery van and ensuring inventory and invoices are accurate
Starting route on time and maintaining route schedule
Placing delivery in assigned area and rotating products to ensure freshness
Provide superior customer service
Properly unloading vehicle and conducting safety and maintenance checks
Completing end-of shift paperwork

Additional Requirements for the Position:
Valid Drivers license
Current DMV printout submitted prior to interview
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Availability to work extended hours, weekends and holidays
Good written communication - applicants will be asked to take a basic writing skills test
Basic math ability applicants will be asked to take a basic math skills test
Driving skills applicants will be asked to demonstrate safe and legal operation of a delivery van.
Food Handlers card must be obtained within 30 days of employment
Background investigation and drug testing may also be required
Desired skills and abilities:
Previous office and/or customer contact experience
Route Driver experience
Bi-lingual English/Spanish
