We're looking for a full time dishwasher and cleaner Tuesday-Saturday at The Hatch in downtown Paso Robles. The daytime position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dish room, cleaning the front of house, and assisting with light prep work. The position requires efficient work, an eye for cleanliness, and attention to detail.
Some dishwashing experience is preferred but we will train the right candidate. Must be able to work 9:30 AM - 4:30 PM Tuesday-Saturday.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Daily cleaning tasks in the dining room such as sweeping, mopping, window washing
Deep cleaning tasks such as floor/wall scrubbing, detailing equipment, buffing floors
Operate dishwashers efficiently and responsibly wash dishes, glassware and flatware
Scour pots and pans
Prep food items according to directives from Executive Chef. Includes chopping produce, portioning batch recipes, safely storing prepped items
Follow written recipes and verbal instructions
Safely handle and store cleaning products
General dish area maintenance including: sweeping, mopping, organization and garbage removal
Other duties or responsibilities as assigned or required
Qualifications
Dishwashing/cleaning experience
Previous experience working in a prep cook role a plus
Attention to detail
Must speak and understand English
Organizational skills and an ability to multi-task
Able to spend 100% of the time standing
