La Cosecha Bar & Restaurant is seeking experienced, professional, qualified candidates to join our Hospitality Team Immediately as Hosts and Maitre D’

Our Maitre D’ and Hosts are the first members of the team with whom our guests typically interact, whether by phone, email, or in person, and as such are responsible for creating an amazing first impression! Our Hosts greet and seat each guest in our dining room and bar, manage our reservation list and waitlist and ensure every guest feels genuine care from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.

Ideal Candidates would possess:

- A Genuine gift for hospitality and the desire to offer our guests an awesome experience, every time. Not Ok. Not Good. Awesome!

- The ability to cultivate relationships with our guests and ensure they return over and over again.

- Exceptional Communication skills, able to clearly communicate with our guests what they can expect from us, and any pertaining policies in a positive, cheerful, friendly manner. The ability to find positive verbiage for every communication, especially “the bad news.”

- A preternatural awareness of their surroundings. The ability to “know” when a new guest has walked in from anywhere in the building.

- The ability to catch another person’s eye and hold an entire non-verbal conversation from across a crowded room.

- A Team Oriented Work Ethic. We do this this together, always. We set each other up for success. “We” do this, “I” do a small part.

- An eye for fine detail and obsessive cleanliness.

- A minimum of 1 year experience working front of house in a fine dining or casual-fine dining environment.

- Familiarity with shared/family-style dining.

- Flexible schedule that would allow for maximum scheduling. The ability to consistently commit to 3-4 weekly shifts working both days (9-10am to 3-4pm) and nights (4-5pm to 10:30-11:30pm).

- Reliable transportation to and from our location.

- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs.

- Current California Food Handler Certification and RBS certification.

- A sense of Style and Élan.

- A High School Diploma or equivalent.

- Bilingual (Spanish) definitely a plus!

- Familiarity with Reservation platform software, specifically Tock a plus!
