Kitchen Manager – Upscale Casual Restaurant (Arroyo Grande, CA)
We’re looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager to lead the back-of-house operations at a popular, high-volume restaurant and bar located in the heart of Arroyo Grande. Our establishment is known for its vibrant atmosphere, locally inspired menu, and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.
What You’ll Do:
Oversee all kitchen operations, including inventory management, ordering, and food cost control
Lead, train, and inspire a dedicated culinary team
Maintain consistent food quality, presentation, and safety standards
Collaborate with ownership and front-of-house leadership to deliver an exceptional guest experience
Manage scheduling, labor costs, and kitchen efficiency
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum 3 years of kitchen management or sous chef experience in a full-service or high-volume setting
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to manage costs while maintaining high quality
ServSafe certification (preferred)
Passion for food, teamwork, and creating a positive kitchen culture
