Part time baker position available at Bijou Bakery! 2-3 shifts per week. We are a popular, French inspired neighborhood bakery in the beautiful beach down of Cayucos a block from the pier. We are looking for a reliable, dedicated team member to perform opening baking duties. Job requirements include:
Arriving at 5:30am to bake off fresh pastries
Setting up baked goods in the display case
Friendly and courteous demeanor
Comfortable communicating with customers and colleagues
Cash register management
Opening/ closing duties including stocking, cleaning and dishes
Mixing, baking, prep for following day
Barista experience a plus!
Able to stand for a 6-8 hour shift
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Reliable source of transportation
Able to work weekends (we are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays )
