We are looking for a friendly, energetic and motivated dental hygienist to join our fun-loving staff and continue to build our strong hygiene program. The hygienist will be a critical part of our team, not only to provide quality care to our patients, but also have a passion for keeping our patients healthy and happy

Duties
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing
- Take dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide to patients as needed
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized oral care instructions
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral cancer screenings
- Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
Experience
- Proficiency in aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Strong patient assessment skills, including the ability to identify oral health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Experience with electronic health record systems and adherence to HIPAA regulations
- In-depth knowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditions
- Familiarity with Open dental or other dental practice management software
