Job Description:
As a Packer and Assembler, you'll assemble Starlink kits to spec, pack them securely for shipment, and provide responsive customer support to handle inquiries and issues. This role combines hands-on assembly with customer interaction, helping you build transferable skills like logistics and communication – all while accommodating your academic schedule. We prioritize accuracy, efficiency, and a customer-oriented approach to meet our standards and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Assemble Starlink products and kits based on order specifications.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipping to ensure they arrive in top condition.
- Verify order accuracy and inspect for any defects or issues.
- Maintain an organized workspace.
- Work with the team to meet production targets, with shifts designed to align with class times.
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking as needed.
- Respond to customer inquiries via email, phone, or chat on topics like order status, product details, and troubleshooting.
- Process returns, exchanges, and refunds accurately and promptly.
- Escalate more complex issues to senior team members.
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail, similar to proofreading assignments or managing projects.
- Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment (training provided if you're new).
- Reliable attendance and a proactive work ethic.
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for shift durations (ergonomic stations available).
- Experience in assembly, packing, or customer service is a plus, but not required – enthusiasm to learn is key.
- Good communication skills and basic computer proficiency (e.g., email and simple order systems).
