We are seeking a highly motivated, tech-savvy individual with a strong background in Digital Marketing to take on the role of Gallery Administrator.
This position offers the unique opportunity to work in a creative environment surrounded by museum-quality original paintings. The ideal candidate is an energetic self-starter with proven experience in a variety of computer programs and internet marketing tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Photography & Video Creation and Editing: Capture high-quality images and videos of artwork and edit them using Adobe Creative Cloud tools.
Website Management: Build and maintain multiple websites using platforms like Squarespace and Dreamweaver.
SEO & Digital Marketing: Implement best SEO practices to improve keyword rankings, manage Google Ads campaigns, and enhance the gallery's online visibility.
Social Media & Blog Management: Upload and promote artwork on social media platforms and various art sales websites.
Email Marketing: Write and send engaging Mailchimp campaigns twice weekly, blending art historical insights with a sales-oriented approach.
Graphic Design & Advertising: Design layouts for advertisements, coordinate with auction houses, and manage promotional materials.
Shipping & Inventory Management: Create shipping labels, track shipments, and update collection records, including the status of framing, restoration, and cost-of-goods.
Qualifications:
Strong Knowledge of SEO principles and extensive experience with paid ad platforms like Google Ads and Bing.
Strong knowledge of building and maintaining websites using Wordpress, Wix and Square.
Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud, Squarespace, and Dreamweaver.
Strong writing skills with the ability to produce compelling, art-focused content.
Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
Background in Art History is preferred but not necessary.
