A property management company is seeking a Property Management Assistant to join their team part-time for a 25 hours per week position.
This property management company is one of the longest-running on the central coast, founded in 1992.
The properties are mostly residential with some commercial units. The properties managed are primarily in the 5-Cities.
The hours for this role will be 9 am–2 pm Monday–Friday and 1–3 Saturdays per month (flexible on which Saturdays) from 10 am–2 pm. This position will work in a small office with 2 others: the owner of the business and 1 other part-time employee who is in a similar role.
Role responsibilities:
Answer the phones, respond to emails, and greet people who walk into the office. These are prospective applicants and tenants, property owners, and contractors. Help each one get the information they need.
Use Yardi property management software to keep accounts up-to-date
Accept and review applications from prospective tenants
Handle money from rent payments and application fees
Drive to and from errands that could include taking the mail to the post office, taking bank deposits to the bank, putting a lockbox on a rental unit, etc.
Complete a variety of other office tasks that could include filing, preparing mailings, sending notices, etc
Seeking someone with 2-5 years of professional experience in an office setting. We will offer training.
