RECEPTIONIST

RRM Design Group, an employee-owned company, is currently seeking a full-time Receptionist to become a valued member of our team. Our dynamic firm values collaboration, inclusivity, and innovation, offering a work environment that balances professional growth with enjoyment.

As the Receptionist, your role is pivotal in maintaining a welcoming and efficient front desk experience for both internal and external customers. This includes warmly greeting visitors, handling inquiries with professionalism, and directing incoming calls to the appropriate contacts. Ensuring the highest standard of customer service is essential in representing RRM as a reputable organization to clients and colleagues.

In addition to these responsibilities, the Receptionist will also be tasked with various other duties, such as running errands, actively participating in safety and administration teams, and fulfilling any other assigned tasks. This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to our team’s success while fostering a positive workplace atmosphere.

YOUR ROLE LOOKS LIKE:

Directing walk-in traffic, and phone calls.

Coordinating in-house meetings and maintaining oversight of a scheduling system for resources including conference rooms and fleet vehicles.

Handling incoming and outgoing mail as well as overnight parcels efficiently.

Providing support with various travel coordination responsibilities.

Collaborating within the administrative team and taking on additional tasks as assigned.

Be an ambassador of RRM; internal and external.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

High school diploma.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in front desk reception or customer service roles.

Great verbal communication skills.

Ability to multitask while maintaining a strong professional demeanor.

Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Word, and Excel).

Ability to work and thrive in a team setting.

ABOVE & BEYOND:

Some work experience in architecture, engineering, surveying, landscape architecture, or planning firm
